Professional Skills Workshops

Group photo of PFMP studentsIn addition to specialized graduate courses in French, PFMP students take roughly ninety total hours of training in specialized professional skills workshops prior to leaving for their internships.  Based on years of assessment of program alumni working across concentration areas, these hands-on workshops provide professional skills for the internship hunt and job market and complement existing academic coursework in the program.

Students participate in six of ten available workshop options, which they choose in consultation with the program director and in light of their concentration area and professional goals.

Workshops are led by expert professionals working in those fields.
